The purpose of our career framework is to provide a clear and consistent job architecture across Elvie, so that:
There is a shared understanding of career levels and possible career paths to enable better quality career conversations
There is clear guidance of requirements at each career level to enable us to make good decisions about the level we recruit roles into, provide structure to development conversations and guide promotion decisions
Expectations of skills, experience and knowledge for different levels are aligned across crafts
Welcome to the Elvie Career Development Framework
Understanding the pathways
There are two pathways in the framework:
Individual Contributor Pathway (IC) - for roles that do not involve line management
Leadership Pathway (L) - for roles that involve managing individuals and teams.
This means that growth and progression within Elvie is not dependent on you becoming a line manager, e.g. following the IC pathway, you could become a specialist in your craft and lead key organisational projects.
